At Bloom Box Products, we pride ourselves on blending beautiful, functional design with high-quality craftsmanship. We recently had the exciting opportunity to bring our expertise to a unique project in Brisbane, Australia. Our team worked alongside both the interior design firm and construction group to deliver stunning, tailor-made planter boxes that add greenery and vitality to the entry space of this office building.
We were engaged by the interior design firm to create custom versions of our popular ALLO planter range. Usually, these products have square ends as standard. However, for this project there was a requirement for the planters to have angled faces that match some of the existing geometry of the space. Although this deviates from our standard product, as designers and problem solvers we relished the opportunity to create something unique.
At Bloom Box Products, we know that a planter box is more than just a vessel for plants; it’s a piece of functional furniture that should enhance the overall design of an environment. Particularly for this project it is a public facing entry which represents those who work within the building.
Each planter box was crafted specifically for individual spaces with careful attention how each item was installed, as well as how the planters interfaced with each other. We will also use durable materials to ensure the boxes will withstand the demands of high-traffic areas and weather conditions while showcasing the greenery beautifully. These particular designs highlight the topography of the space whilst also championing the natural figure of the Spotted Gum Timber (Australian Hardwood) of the ALLO Planters.

Through our design documentation we were able to provide granular details about all aspects of the design to ensure all stakeholders were able to understand exactly how the design would be implemented from installation details to the millimetre precision of the layout and components.
